Warehouse Shipping Coordinator

Job Description

OLM Food Solutions is currently searching for a Warehouse Shipping Coordinator to join our growing team in Milford, IA! If you have an accounting and/or warehouse clerical background, this position may be what you are looking for!

Summary

The Warehouse Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of transfers in and out of the warehouse, tracking all movements through our SAP software.

Responsibilities  

  • Ensures accurate inventories for all goods to include sorting, counting, and organizing.  Account for any loss.
  • Manages and reduces on the spot out of stock and works with Operations to solve re-occurring out of stock issues.
  • Ensures all repackaged products go back on the floor and that all products are reporting correctly in SAP.
  • Maintains route paperwork along with processing created routes weekly and add-on orders for routes daily.
  • Enter route information - times for loading, mis-picks (route tracker, benchmarking).
  • Process pickup and UPS orders and R&D vending orders.
  • Schedule loading order according to release times.
  • Coordinate with transportation on trailers and special orders.
  • Process returns and contact drivers on return information or missing items when needed.
  • Release items from hold status at all locations including satellite locations.
  • Coordinate with production on in-house products, including shortages.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing Department on incoming items and locate missing/unaccounted product.
  • Process after hour add-ons, transportation trouble shooting, emails and calls.  Process complaint information and relay information to proper personnel.
  • Relay route information specifics, palletized stops, extra pallets, strips, and locks.  

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong math and computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts along with performing basic math functions.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. 

Education and/ Or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED diploma required. 
  • Two to four years accounting and/or warehouse experience preferred. 
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
