Overview

 

Amergy Solar is dedicated in bringing the best solar solution to both residential and commercial consumers. The Sales Consultant is a sales role, with frequent local travel within the region. Our consultants provide solar sales consultations for a mix of self-generated opportunities and company provided leads.

Responsibilities

Meet minimum required sales targets as set by the Regional Sales Manager;

Source and develop self-generated leads and appointments with potential customers;

Engage in local lead generation activities.

Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers;

Develop effective self-generation sales strategies;

Evaluate customers knowledge and needs, building productive long lasting relationships;

Ensure a clean transition of post-sale activity to other teams by delivering complete customer information;

Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned on;

Project management: manage the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations;

Properly prepare for appointments by building proposals, preparing for objections, and calling customers to confirm appointments;

Attend required trainings, and follow sales processes;

Maintain current knowledge of the latest Amergy Solar and industry developments by attending sales meetings, sales events, trainings, and industry events;

 

Qualifications

Highly developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Ability to communicate and partner cross-functionally to address customer needs.

Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation and self-discipline

Open-minded with a passion for learning a wide-range of skills that will carry through a variety of career paths

Desire to mentor other colleagues after refining your skill set

Salesforce experience preferred.

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays

 

Compensation

This postion is a performance-based position, with potential bonus and company rewards.
