Job Description: Operations Associate

The Operations Associate plays a critical role in the back-office functioning of our firm. With responsibility for the day-to-day Client meeting preparation, the Operations Associate helps prepare all forms for new and existing accounts and ensures processing is handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
The Operations Associate is also responsible for the data entry to create and maintain the Comprehensive Financial Plans for the firm's Clients. Key information includes detailed cash flow review, retirement planning, investment planning, education planning, and major purchase planning.

Processes new accounts
Processes account transfers
Processes new contributions and redemptions
Processes Client personal account information updates
Follows up with Clients as needed to make sure all paperwork is processed
Monitors new insurance / annuities applications and delivery as well as servicing existing policies
Begins the initial preparation for annual reviews
Handles miscellaneous operational activities
Enters Client information into comprehensive financial planning software and generates wealth plans
Enters existing Client account information into Digital Allocation Tool for annual reviews
Enters prospect account information into Digital Allocation Tool for Advisors to prepare proposals
Creates presentations summarizing the wealth plans for Client meetings
Assists Clients in aggregating their accounts into the Client Experience Dashboard
Maintains the Insurance portion of Client Households in Client Relationship Management platform
Manages clients' individual wealth planning websites to maintain current information
Reviews and modifies systems to enhance the wealth planning experience
Stays current with available training to improve the wealth planning process

Miscellaneous:
Develops and maintains written systems of all key functions
Stays up to date on compliance regulations from Carson Wealth Management, Cetera and Custodians
Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Requires:
o Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
o A strong focus on getting the details correct
o Excellent organizational and time management skills
o An ability to handle multiple tasks within tight time frames
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
o Strong analytical and research skills
o Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
o BA/BS degree in business-related field from an accredited institution

Helpful:
o Interest in and knowledge of financial markets and investment securities.
o Previous securities industry experience.
o FINRA Series 7, 63, (and 65 if needed for your Registered Investment Advisor).
Attendance is an essential function.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
