Job Description - Maintenance Technician (MT)

OGH for a full-time maintenance technician for its Dallas and Austin properties. We manage approximately 25 residential/commercial properties in the DFW and Austin areas with over 150 tenants. This position requires travel to different properties each day. Candidates must have reliable transportation to the management office. OGH will provide a work vehicle for travel to properties each day. The ideal candidate must be able to manage subcontractors and suppliers as needed. The maintenance technician needs to be extremely well organized, detailed, and able to execute daily work orders without constant supervision. Our office uses Yardi to manage maintenance orders. The maintenance technician will be required to use the app for daily work orders and submitting completion details.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to painting, pressure washing, grounds keeping, and basic maintenance tasks. The maintenance technician will deal with tenants on a regular basis and must be professional with all interactions.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minor painting and drywall repairs
  • Changing light bulbs
  • Minor pluming repair
  • Property clean-up
  • Other maintenance projects as needed

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Read and write English
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently, but in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license
