Lead HVAC Installer

We have an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Installer to install, maintain, and repair our client's HVAC systems. As an HVAC Installer, you will travel to our client's properties, to remove old equipment and install the new equipment. 

The HVAC Installer must be skilled in recovering refrigerant, wiring inside and outside units, brazing, and sheet metal work. Will be required to install any and all systems sold by the sales department for next day installation.  You will inspect and ensure that new systems work efficiently before leaving after installation.

To be a successful HVAC Installer, you will need excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and be respectful. Your essential duty is to provide professional guidance and advice to lower level employees with training them in the most effective and efficient ways. Customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort should be your highest priority for success in this role. And a walk through the thermostat should always be done with customer before leaving the install for the day. 

HVAC Installer Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspect the effectiveness and safety of customers new HVAC system
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing customers ventilation, air conditioning systems, and equipment
• Diagnosing HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects.
• Maintaining a detailed inventory of all HVAC parts and resources on truck.
• Participate in all technical training
• Complying with install standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements
• Ability to work until the job is done.

HVAC Installer Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalently
• Valid driver's license
• Vocational, training, or apprenticeship of an HVAC program and or min of 3 years exp.
• Current HVAC EPA Cert.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
• Working knowledge of Gas systems
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work until the job is done.
