Dishwasher

A Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots. pans, and utensils through manual and machine methods. Dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe.

Additionally, Dishwashers will help with light food preparation

Responsibilities:

  • Check the dish machine to ensure it is functioning properly and all cleaners and sanitizers are properly stocked
  • Scrape, rinse and load dishes and utensils into the dish machine
  • Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils and dishes
  • Organize and maintain clean dish area
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
  • Sweep and mop the dishpit/kitchen areas as needed
  • Preform additional cleaning duties as requested
  • Working effectively with kitchen team, and complying with Caddy's procedures and food safety policies
  • Preparing workstation with required ingredients and equipment, and keeping station sanitary and organized throughout shift
  • Preparing ingredients following recipes and guidelines
  • Ensuring ingredients are tagged, date-labeled, covered, stored and rotated effectively
  • Removing trash and clearing storage bins

Requirements:

  • Must be able to carry heavy weights (minimum 25 pounds)
  • Must have the endurance for long shifts 6-8 hours.
