Expectations General Description

The BDC Representative will be the direct initial person ofcontact for every new or existing customer. Their ultimate goal is to facilitateand encourage the customer to agree to an appointment at the dealership. The BusinessDevelopment Representative will focus on increasing the Service traffic of thedealership by making outbound service calls and emails related, but not limitedto Recalls, Internet Inquiries, Email Campaigns and Service follow up callingefforts. The objective of this activity is to obtain appointment for theService Staff. The BDR acts as the essential communication links between theclient and the Service team. The BDR must be friendly, articulate,enthusiastic, and a self-motivated team player. The BDR must also have outstandingcommunication skills, a positive attitude and an excellent work ethic.


Contactnew and existing customers to discuss current Service Promotions.

Respondto inbound phone call and internet inquiries to develop customer trust andgenerate customer visits to our store.

Followup with customers to ensure satisfaction and produce referrals.

Professionaland has the ability to make compelling introduction.

Willingto participate in skills and product training.

Multi-taskerand excellent customer service skills.

Proficientwith computers, emails, smart phones and the web.

FollowBDC scripts and guidelines on all inbound and outbound calls.

Ensuringthat all calls presented are answered promptly and professional.

Develop proficiencywith all features of the BDC CRM Software and associated products.

Ensuringthat all information entered into BDC systems is consistent and accurate.
